Deborah Aronson VMD CVMA CPEVDr. Deborah Aronson is a 2001 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, and focuses exclusively on palliative, hospice, and end of life care for small animals. In 2008 Dr. Aronson euthanized her own beloved kitty peacefully at home and decided to offer this service to others, launching Final Blessings, an in-home euthanasia practice specific to cats, along with continuing her work in general veterinary clinical practice. She obtained certification in Veterinary Medical Acupuncture and launched Main Line Veterinary Integrative Practice LLC (Main Line VIP) in 2015, offering house call palliative and end of life care for all pets.
Dr. Aronson is a member of the IAAHPC (International Association of Animal Hospice and Palliative Care) and a certified Peaceful Endings Veterinarian through CAETA (Companion Animal Euthanasia Training Academy). Additionally, she advanced her knowledge in providing spiritual and pastoral care by becoming a trained chaplain through Main Line Health at Lankenau Medical Center. She volunteers for NOMV (Not One More Vet, a nonprofit established to support the emotional wellness of veterinary professionals). Dr. Aronson is a national speaker and teacher for veterinary students, professionals and the public on compassionate communication, palliative care, humane euthanasia techniques, and pet first aid. |
