Medical AcupunctureEncouraging the body to use its own pharmacy for healing and pain control, acupuncture has thousands of years of history behind it, with recent scientific understanding of how and why it works. Dr. Deborah Aronson utilizes acupuncture, electroacupuncture, medical massage and myofascial release, acupressure, and laser acupuncture are all used as indicated.
Dr. Aronson uses a "multi-modal" approach to pain control including in-home treatments, medications, supplements, and injections such as Librela (dogs) and Solensia (cats). |
Palliative Care/HospiceDr. Deborah Aronson is based in Wynnewood and offers house calls within the Main Line neighborhoods of Philadelphia (see service area page on contact page) as well as telehealth consultations (from any location) for quality of life and end of life considerations. She is patient, compassionate, and highly skilled in working with you to come up with a "hospice plan" for your pet. You will not feel rushed or pressured into deciding to euthanize as long as we are able to keep your pet comfortable.
For palliative care, Dr. Aronson can coordinate medications and treatments with your veterinarian. Prescriptions can only be prescribed after an in-home physical examination of your pet according to Pennsylvania law. |
EuthanasiaDr. Deborah Aronson can gently guide patients and their pet parents through the end of life process in the privacy and comfort of your home. She is grateful to offer the humane treatment of euthanasia to alleviate and prevent suffering. Dr. Aronson uses a two-step protocol for euthanasia, tailored to each patient, designed to minimize stress.
Additionally, Main Line VIP can provide aftercare cremation and memorialization products such as paw prints and locks of fur. Please see FAQ for more details on the euthanasia process.
